Industrial equipment never stops talking. Temperatures, pressures, flow rates, equipment states: a constant stream of telemetry, and the systems built to capture it have to keep up without dropping a point.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll build a working pipeline from MQTT to Tiger Cloud to Grafana. You'll subscribe to an MQTT broker, ingest live sensor readings into Tiger Cloud, and wire it all to a real-time Grafana dashboard. You'll also learn the TimescaleDB primitives that make this stack hold up in production: hypertables for fast time-series ingestion, time_bucket() and last() for operational queries, and continuous aggregates that keep dashboards fast as more data and devices come online.

By the end, you'll have a working pipeline, a Tiger Cloud instance ready for real data, and a clear way to apply the same architecture to your own equipment, whether you're monitoring a manufacturing line, tracking field instrumentation, or building the data layer for an energy management system.
